May 1 and Latino boycots

250,000 in LA. More than a million nationwide, and I still don't think they are going to get what they want. Outside of that, I'm still sickened by how many students skipped school. Supposedly at LAUSD, it's some 70,000. As if Latino youths can afford to miss school or schools afford the money they lose because of attendance.
